GETTING PAID

We at On Location Casting understand how important it is for you to be compensated for the work you do on our sets. We know the importance of receiving an accurate paycheck in a timely manner. For that reason, we have put together some information to help you with any payroll related questions or issues you may encounter while working with OLC.

The first thing to remember is that On Location Casting does NOT handle payroll. We are not the people who pay you and have no access to your payroll files. We are not able to tell you when you will receive your pay check or resolve payroll related problems for you. We WILL try to help you if we can, though.

On Location Casting is NOT your employer of record. The payroll company for the specific project you are working on is listed as your Employer. If you intend to file for unemployment after you have finished working with us – you MUST list the payroll company as your employer on your unemployment claim in order to avoid any delays with your claim.

Pay rates and payroll processing times vary by project and location. Be sure to ask what your rate of pay will be before you accept a job.

Average processing time for you to receive your pay check is between 10 -14 business days, not including weekends or holidays, from the day AFTER you work. It takes a day for your voucher to make it from the set to the accounting department, so you should not count your work day in the 10-14 day waiting period. If you do not receive your check in a timely manner, please contact the payroll company listed on your voucher. Be sure to have your voucher handy when calling in so that you can provide date worked, start time, end time and rate.

YOU are responsible for making sure your voucher and your I-9 are filled out legibly, completely and with your accurate information. If your address changes after you have worked and before you receive your check, you will need to contact the payroll company.

*ALWAYS keep a copy of your voucher receipt for employment verification until you receive the check corresponding to that voucher. Without your receipt, it is difficult to verify that you worked.

*ALWAYS double check your voucher for accuracy BEFORE you leave the check-out table at the end of the day!

**FOR ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING YOUR PAY CHECK – CALL the Payroll Company for your specific project directly!!
